ABOUT THE FOUNDATION
The Suffolk County Parks Foundation, Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) organization that provides support and financial assistance for Suffolk County Parks. The Foundation works in close association with the Parks Department to determine where resources are most needed and how to implement specific programs and projects. For example, the Foundation has supported the Parks Department’s “Earth Day” celebration by funding entertainment, children’s educational activities, and event advertising that were not included in the Department’s budget.
