Sponsorship Opportunities for “Earth Day 2010” Events

Sponsors are needed to make EARTH DAY 2010 in Suffolk County Parks another tremendous success! Suffolk County Parks is celebrating the 40th Anniversary of Earth Day with two special events. On Friday, April 23, 2010, the Parks Foundation hosts our first-ever EARTH DAY AWARDS DINNER at Timber Point Country Club in Great River. Tickets are $150 and can be purchased on the "News & Events" page of this site.

The following day, Saturday, April 24, 2010, the Parks Foundation joins the Suffolk County Parks Department's 4th Annual EARTH DAY FESTIVAL at Indian Island County Park. The Festival is free to the public and includes interactive exhibits, educational demonstrations, nature walks, beach grass planting, trail clean-ups, marine life exhibits, face painting, and additional activities for children and families. The event runs from 10:00am to 4:00pm.

By supporting Earth Day 2010 you provide Suffolk County residents an opportunity to learn how to make positive changes and adopt earth-friendly behaviors into their daily routines. All sponsors will be publicly acknowledged before, during, and after both events.
